NEW JIM REEVES EXHIBIT
AT THE TEXAS COUNTRY MUSIC
HALL OF FAME
IN CARTHAGE, TEX.

Featured in the center of the photo is the plaque which was presented to Mary when Jim Reeves was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville in 1967. This plaque is also courtesy of Mr. Newberry. One of the unique aspects of the new display is the button you can push (on left of plaque) that enables you to hear a tape (courtesy of Tom Perryman) of Jim actually announcing on KGRI back in his radio days. Note photo that shows a billboard that used to promote the station as "the radio home of Jim Reeves." Upper right features a snapshot of Jim with his business partner, Tom Perryman, who later co-owned the station with Jim.

This depicts the radio room from another angle, and a display case containing stage jackets and photos of Jim Reeves.
