Before the days when Jim Reeves became so busy, he
personally answered many of his fans by writing postcards himself.
Here is one from 1956, sent to a woman in Kansas. Later, Jim still
answered his fan mail, though he had help. He needed it, because
some weeks he received over 4,000 letters from all over the world!
His attitude was that "if they are nice enough to write,
they deserve a reply."
