MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: A 100-POINT "SHOW CAR" The photos below show the results of a two year, very detailed, methodical and painstaking restoration by one of the top Cadillac experts in the country, at a cost of over $135,000.00 (which is above what Mr. Newberry paid to acquire the car). Thus the car now looks like it did when Jim drove it off the lot of the Atlanta, Georgia Cadillac dealer! Come to think of it, it probably looks a lot better!

Remember when cars had fins? What style!

With the air cleaner off, look at those THREE carburetors!! Warning: May be hazardous to your clean driving record. Speeding tickets optional.

After looking at the rear license plate, there's no doubt whose car this is!

The car was judged 100 points, which is the highest score you can obtain, at the last two major concourse car shows in California (amidst stiff competition from some incredible cars). It took first place. However, James informs us that unfortunately "It was damaged at my car club and again had to go back to the paint shop." So, he says, for the time being "I am not going to show or drive it anymore..."
